Intelligent Adventures is designed to make stories without an account, advertising, analytics, tracking, or an app-operated story server.

Data collection

Intelligent Adventures does not collect personal data or usage data. It does not include advertising or analytics SDKs and does not create a user account.

Story text

Your story settings, choices, and generated chapters are processed by Apple’s Foundation Models framework on your device. The app does not send story text to a server operated by Luke Steuber.

Chapter illustrations

Chapter art is created through Apple’s Image Playground system experience. Its processing and available styles depend on the installed operating system and configured provider and may include Private Cloud Compute. Intelligent Adventures receives only the image you choose to keep and copies it into the app’s private storage.

Storage and deletion

Your tales, choice checkpoints, explored paths, and accepted illustrations are stored locally in the app container. You can delete an individual tale from the story shelf. Deleting the app removes its local data through the operating system.

Sharing

If you choose to share a storybook, Intelligent Adventures creates a PDF in temporary app storage and presents the system share sheet. The app does not upload the PDF itself. The destination you select is governed by that service’s own privacy practices.

Children and families

The app is suitable for shared family storytelling and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
