How privacy works. iOS expansion runs entirely on Apple's on-device Foundation Models. No cloud fallback on iOS. Web and Android may use a cloud model (opt-in).

What it does

Spatial brainstorm

Place ideas as hex tiles. Distance and direction encode relatedness, not arbitrary lines.

On-device expansion

Apple Foundation Models (iOS 26+) suggest neighboring tiles. No network. Works on a plane.

Merge + cluster

Combine adjacent tiles into a summarized parent. Mark clusters with a key theme.

Session save

Brainstorms persist locally; export as JSON or share a snapshot link.

Snapshot share

Generate a read-only link to a frozen view of your hex grid. Useful for handoffs.

Multi-platform

Web (ideatiles.app), iOS, Android. Web supports live collaboration; iOS stays on-device-only.

Tab through tiles, Cmd+E to expand, Cmd+M to merge — the web version is built for thinking, not pointing.

Both themes are first-class. Hex strokes shift to keep contrast at WCAG AA.
